Let’s be quite clear here. I REALLY fucking hate bigots who make it out to seem that people don’t think about their choice to abort their child. Like people who have abortions don’t care about anything but themselves and that they don’t understand what an abortion is. Even worse, they make it seem like they ENJOY abortions. As if, in some convoluted way, the majority people think that abortion is like taking cough medicine or getting a vaccine shot.

Abortion is a choice, made by responsible people, to understand that the life that is currently developing in there uterus can not be sustained with the given circumstances. It’s a choice considering nine months of one’s life is devoted to the proper development of a child, and then when it is born it also needs to be given vaccinations. It’s a choice considering whether or not the child should be given up to adoption — which is already filled with hundreds of children waiting for parents who want them yet parents do not come because most parents do simply rely on traditional conception. It’s a choice considering the health of every individual woman who does have a developing child within their womb and understands that pregnancy and birth are dangerous and beautiful things.

Abortion is also a choice considering that it is painful and it is rigorous and that one cannot simply go through life doing abortion after another because eventually it will lead to them not having children at all. Women are not proud to have abortions but they need to have the choice to make sure that birth is wonderful. That the miracle of life is still viewed as a miracle.

Slut-shaming and saying that it’s the women’s fault is completely crap. It’s utter bullshit. The ONLY reason we only look down on women who get pregnant is because pregnancy only happens to women. Men don’t get pregnant and that’s why they don’t bear the brunt of the judgement. “OH she couldn’t keep her legs closed,” Fuck you. Abortion isn’t fucking fun. Do you think anyone actually WANTS to have an abortion? Are you stupid? Women need and deserve the choice because they are given the burden and trust to bear children. And you want to kick them in the dirt and force them to go through pregnancy not only risking the development of the child but also the life of the woman and the child? You know people can DIE from giving birth right? That shit actually happens. Also, you ever hear of post-par tum depression?

You want to put another human being— no, TWO human beings —at risk of misery because you don’t think she should’ve have had SEX? Who gave you the right to have sex then? Should we put pad locks on everyone’s crotch so no one has sex anymore? Shut the fuck up you ignorant little creep.

Abortion is never a positive thing, but we need it and women have the right to it.
